Am I the only one who thinks these two Lucifers look similar, or…
Michael and Lucifer or Sam and Dean?
Prince of Darkness. [h/t actegratuit: Florian Bertmer]
It is better to reign in Hell, than to serve in Heav’n.
- John Milton, Paradise Lost
I was watching Repo-Man (SPN 715) a while back, and began wondering what happened to Nick, Lucifer’s original vessel?
At first I thought that he had simply disintegrated when Luci took over Sam’s body, but on watching Swan Song over and over, I was finally able to see him, lying there, still - possibly dead.
So what happened to Nick. Poor highly disintegrated Nick… who was a collateral damage in the high-profile pissing contest between two stubborn sets of brothers - Michael and Lucifer, and the Winchesters?
Nick. Possibly the most heroic man in the Universe. The man who said yes to Luci, and indirectly prevented the separation between the Winchesters. And thus, the Apocalypse. Nick who lost everything and gained nothing.
Did he die… or did he live?
So many questions… not a single answer.
NOT MINE ! but its goddamn hilarious :’)
Even the Devil needs help, sometimes :D
"You, clown, abandon, which is in the vulgar leave, the society,…
… Or, clown, thou perishest; or, to thy better understanding, diest;
Or, to wit I kill thee, make thee away, translate thy life into death, thy liberty into bondage:
I will deal in poison with thee, or in bastinado, or in steel; I will bandy with thee in faction; I will o’errun thee with policy; I will kill thee a hundred and fifty ways:
Therefore tremble and depart.”
Whenever I read this, I can’t help but think of Gabriel confronting Luci, with an Angel blade in his hand.
If only Sam learnt…

Sam on his Insomnia:
How can I then return in happy plight
That am debarred the benefit of rest?
When day’s oppression is not eased by night,
But day by night and night by day oppressed?
[How can I, who is refused the benefit of rest, return to a contented frame of mind? Especially when the weariness of the day isn’t relieved at night; but the day’s tiredness is taunted during the night, and night’s fatigue torments during the day.]
